ABOUT BLUE OAK PROJECTS

Blue Oak Projects, LLC was founded by Greg Plattenburg and Brant McGill in 2005. Since then, the company has grown and evolved from a custom home builder into a diversified commercial and residential construction firm with projects at Government military instillations, hospitals, churches, universities, retail and service businesses.

Greg is a third-generation builder who grew up working on job sites with his father and grandfather. After graduating from Maryville College, Greg worked as a field engineer with Middle Tennessee Electric. He then spent several years with Allen Hoshall Engineering as a project engineer overseeing commercial projects.  Greg has hands on experience in both residential and commercial contracting and has been involved in all aspects of the construction business from small residential projects to large scale commercial projects.

Brant has worked in various management roles in the aerospace industry. He worked as a project manager over ejection seat manufacturing for several years. Brant also managed the assembly operations for an aerospace manufacturing facility. Brant has an engineering and financial background and has been involved with commercial facility planning, layout optimization, and flow analysis as well as project management.
